DJ Bath Title: New songs! Bay Area represents with Clever Chris and Goldwon.
Date: Tuesday, Dec 23, 2008 2:56:59 PM
Blog Post By: DJ Bath

'Far From Hopeless' is a track I produced under a different name (fun with sunfish), which was then given to a friend named Clever Chris to lay down some vocals, featuring homie Goldwon - both representing the Bay Area [sanctuary...]. I'll post the lyrics up soon.
I've also uploaded 'You've got a Trip on Your Shoulder', which is a nice little track to just couchlock into.
There's a few more tracks... but you'll find that out later...
I need a bowl of prop215 medicine to clear my head.
but yea. if you like beats and stuff... synths... quasi-ambient environments... check i

Listening To: The hum of the plane engine being repaired in the hangar next to me.

The end of the year always seems to hit me as both a revelation and a let down. There is the entire last twelve months to review and reflect upon, highs and lows, and then the relization that time is indeed continuing to move forward and we are fast approaching a new year. Here comes 2009 and all of the new challenges (and hopefully changes) that it will hold.
We will have a new President, I will become a parent, and both of these facts fill me with anticipation and anxiety. I'm not sure that I myself, or my country, are truly ready to face the sacrifices needed in order to achieve the r

just when you think you might have a loose grasp on the strange multiverse of the quantum- someone has gone and made things even more strange: quantum information processing without entanglement [?] yet with nonclassical processes
“we used the smallest possible example: a circuit with just two qubits, one pure and one mixed. We ran a phase-estimation algorithm as a small example, and found in every setting there was zero entanglement, but that most of the states couldn’t be described efficiently in a classical manner...

Although the Large Hadron Collider is broken until at least next year, I keep it tucked in a back corner of my head wondering what will happen to reality when they fire that hula hoop up again. Especially since if they don't punch the solar system's ticket with strangelets, monopoles or black holes, they plan on opening up other dimensions. Infinite worlds of possibility.

If they pull it off, all we probably get is a roll of the dice. Then again, since quantum physics says that the observer influences the experiment - and we are all observers of reality - perhaps we can nudge it towards a b

Wintermute Title: Die Walküre, or 4/4 fun with Wagner
Category: Works in Progress
Date: Wednesday, Dec 03, 2008 11:09:31 AM
Blog Post By: Wintermute

You ever wonder why there has not been a trance song set to any part of Richard Wagner's imfamous: "Die Walküre"? After all Walkürenritt (Ride of the Valkyries) has to be one of better known/main stream pieces in "Classical" music. If for nothing else because it was immortalized in film by Copola's Apocalypse Now and Progressive Trance with it "oompa" 4/4 kick and bass and galloping gates is jjust begging for Wagner not to mention the endless arpeggios and grand chord progression...but here is the catch, Wagner composed a lot of stuff in 9/8 time. All of you mus
